Powering Chicago is launching a new YouTube series called The Power of Better on Monday, October 17. Hosted by Powering Chicago’s Executive Director, Elbert Walters III, this series will act as a resource for those interested in the technology, processes and innovations currently being developed and implemented in the electrical construction industry. 

The first episode is divided into two segments — the first focuses on prefabrication (prefab) and the second details the growth of electrical vehicle (EV) charging station installations in Chicago and Cook County. As a whole, the video highlights why it’s important to invest in electrical contractors who rely on industry-leading practices to get the job done, including the latest technological advances being used today.

Segment one: Prefabrication

In the first segment of the episode, electrical contractors and industry professionals share the ways that prefab is bettering electrical construction.
