Absent a vaccine or effective treatment method for COVID-19, a resurgence in the commercial real estate market amidst the pandemic in urban centers like Chicago depends upon solutions that make it safe for people to congregate and collaborate in person. Technology will play a vital role in this process, helping mitigate risk and allay concerns about the spread of COVID-19, as will the layout of the actual physical environment in which businesses conduct their operations.
On June 25 at 10 a.m. CT, Powering Chicago will host a webinar to discuss the current state of the commercial real estate market in Chicagoland, what companies with office spaces are considering right now as they begin bringing employees back, how the built environment can promote health and safety, and the role technology can play in helping businesses safely reopen.
The panel will consist of Josh Bone, Executive Director, Industry Innovation, NECA; Michael Berger, Principal – Director of Interiors, G|R|E|C Architects; Steven Bauer, Executive Director, Cushman & Wakefield; Thomas Pedergnana, Vice President, Malko Communication Services; and Elbert Walters III, Director, Powering Chicago.
