Powering Chicago to Host Tech Demos at Electric Association’s Annual Conference

Powering Chicago is sponsoring the Electric Association’s 2020 Conference and Trade show and will have an exhibit space in the trade show running January 9th and 10th at Drury Lane Theater and Conference Center in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The Powering Chicago exhibit will showcase the amazing work the NECA Chicago / IBEW 134 Contractors conduct in Chicagoland. We have also invited some of our local vendor partners to demonstrate the latest technology that helps drive down costs and increases efficiency on the job site.
The Technology demos scheduled for the show include:
- The latest Mixed Reality technology in construction
- Laser Scanning in pre-construction
- Bluetooth technology in Digital Tools and Inventory Management
- Robotics on the Jobsite
- Variable Frequency Drive Terminations
This two-day conference will feature over 10 hours of education programs and award PDH’s for participation in the workshops. The tradeshow and networking breaks offer the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships in the electrical industry of Chicagoland.
