Powering Chicago, the number one resource for renewable energy system installations, returned as a sponsor to the Chicago Build Expo this year. The Expo took place October 22-23, 2024. Industry leaders, innovators, and professionals dedicated to advancing sustainable practices in the built environment gathered at McCormick Place to network and share their knowledge and expertise.

Robert Hattier, IBEW Local 134 Business Representative, and Powering Chicago member provided necessary insights on sustainability goals during the Chicago Build Expo. Robert spoke at the October 22nd, 2 pm panel titled “Race to Zero: Setting & Achieving Sustainability Targets” on Stage 4. The panel featured sustainability leaders from various organizations, including Blake Jackson (NORR), Asad Jan (JLL), Charles Saville (Elara Engineering), Ben Weinstein (Turner & Townsend Heery), and Jeff Boyer (Farnsworth Group), who explored strategies for meeting sustainability goals.
