Like many of the country’s largest cities, Chicago has been hit hard by the pandemic. With most companies still working from home and virtually no tourism, Chicago doesn’t have the draw it usually does. On Thursday, January 14, Powering Chicago Director Elbert Walters III will participate in a panel discussion during a Bisnow digital summit focused on Chicago’s 2021 economic and political forecast.
The panel, “Chicago’s Resurgence: Bringing Residents, Companies & Tourism Back,” will feature Walters, McCaffery Interests CEO Dan McCaffery, Riverside Investment and Development Executive Vice President Kent Swanson and Peter Tsantilis, partner at Liston & Tsantilis, P.C., in a discussion about how the city is attracting residents, tourists, and companies back.
The summit kicks off at 10:30 a.m. CT, while the “Chicago’s Resurgence” panel discussion will start at 11:45 a.m. CT. Tickets to the summit are $50, and can be purchased on the event page on Bisnow’s website.
Additional summit sessions will address how the incoming Biden administration is likely to affect Commercial Real Estate and certain programs in Chicago, as well as when to expect conferences to return to Chicago and how business travel will look beyond the vaccine.
