Episode two of Powering Chicago’s new YouTube series, The Power of Better, will be released on Wednesday, November 16 and will highlight initiatives aiming to make clean energy upgrades affordable and accessible.
The second episode features two segments — the first explores how a sustainable solar array is partially powering one Chicago area hospital, and the second delves into how sustainability funding is helping to redevelop an old Bridgeport theater into a state-of-the-art entertainment venue through the CPACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) program.
Segment one: Solar installation
In the first segment of the episode, electrical contractors and industry experts go behind the scenes for a look at the in-process solar panel field at the Advocate South Suburban Hospital campus in Hazel Crest.
