The STEM Competition at In-Tech will be held on Tuesday, September 14. The event, developed by IN-Tech, sponsored by Powering Chicago and in conjunction with partner Northwestern University, is a multi-faceted team competition that will challenge participant’s teamwork, comprehension, listening, and time management skills. 

Participants will act as a contractor in developing project design plans for an autonomous camping vehicle and completing fun and challenging physical tasks that immerse high school students in the life of a union electrician and they’ll come away with a better understanding of the unionized electrical industry.

Participating schools include Bremen High School, Oak Forest High School, St. Laurence High School, Brother Rice High School, St. Rita of Cascia High School, Reavis High School, Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Downers Grove North High School and LEO High School.
