Members of IBEW Local 134 and Powering Chicago gathered on Saturday, December 4, to provide socks, t-shirts, and underwear to the veterans of the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center on the city’s west side. The annual event, now in its seventh year, provides needed essentials to veterans who otherwise would have to go without new, clean undergarments. Volunteers of the VA Medical Center say that this year’s donation should help up to 2,000 veterans.
