Powering Chicago Executive Director Elbert Walters III is speaking on panel about the future of mobility and EV charging

On Tuesday, June 7 from 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Powering Chicago’s Executive Director Elbert Walters III is representing the region’s union electrical construction industry on a panel titled, “The Future of Mobility and EV Charging: Case Study of Illinois.” The presentation is a part of the 2nd annual EV Charging Infrastructure Summit – North America.
The panel will be moderated by Elizabeth A. Kócs, Ph.D., program manager at GTI Energy’s Hydrogen Technology Center, topics will include:
- Current initiatives and progress in transportation electrification in Chicago and Illinois
- Ensuring charging access, equity and convenience across neighborhoods and regions
- City / industry initiatives and programs to achieve the EV vision
- Enabling technologies and impacts on existing infrastructure and networks
. Walters will be joined on the panel by:
