On May 26, Powering Chicago Executive Director Elbert Walters III joined a virtual labor panel on WCPT 820 AM with national talk show host Thom Hartmann and co-hosts Joan Esposito and Rick Unger. Elbert was joined by co-panelists John Daniel, Business Manager at SMART 265, Louis Cairo, Senior Partner at GWC Injury Lawyers, and Michael Cook, Director of Servicing/Field Representative at Painters District Council 14/Finishing Chicago. 

During the 2-hour panel, topics ranged from the political implications of Biden’s American Jobs Plan to the continued adoption of electric vehicles, and the country’s transition to renewable energy sources.
