The Chicago White Sox and Powering Chicago distributed gift bags with tickets and White Sox gear to the homeowners who benefited from the 2019 Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago event. Each year during the last Saturday in April, the unionized building trades, including IBEW Local 134 electricians and the Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago, donate their time and materials to help those less fortunate. This year, Rebuild Chicago serviced roughly 75 homes in Chicago Heights and West Englewood.
