Catch Powering Chicago on the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) electric buses along Route 66 bus routes this summer

Powering Chicago is launching a pioneering campaign that promotes its member contractors’ qualifications and expertise in renewable energy on the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) electric bus fleet. As trusted leaders in the field, Powering Chicago’s qualified electrical contractors and IBEW 134 electricians have been at the forefront of clean energy technology for nearly two decades, making them the ideal choice for leading Chicago’s transition to clean energy.
“We are thrilled to bring Powering Chicago’s messaging to CTA’s Route 66 bus routes. It’s important to us to share the expertise of our highly-trained and qualified signatory electrical contractors and IBEW Local 134 electricians for Chicagoland’s renewable energy needs,” Elbert Walters III, Powering Chicago Executive Director said.
The newly-branded CTA electric buses, sponsored by Powering Chicago, will run east from the Chicago/Austin stop to Navy Pier from 4:00 a.m. until midnight on weekdays, 4:10 a.m. to 11:55 p.m on Saturdays and 4:15 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. on Sundays.
